I’ve wanted to try a replacement cleaning method for cream cleaner for a while now... This really dirty stained sink gave me the perfect opportunity! It’s so old it stains really quickly and usually needs cream cleaner and bleach to get it looking shiny again.
I read somewhere a while ago that bicarbonate of soda and apple cider vinegar can replace cream cleaner. So I got to work...
I sprinkled 1/4 cup bicarb onto the sink then slowly sprinkled a few tablespoons of vinegar over the top. I made sure the plug was in although you don’t want this to be too liquid. It should be more like damp bicarbonate of soda.
I left it for about 10 minutes then gave it a good scrub with my coconut husk scourer. Magic!
Still can’t believe how clean and shiny I got it!
